About phaze CREATIONS
Creating through widowhood
I have always created. Knitting, cross stitch, graphic design, paper crafting, and more. When I discovered diamond painting, it helped me work through the loss of my parents. But it is my latest journey - dealing with the death of my husband - that has made me realize we must always find ways to dream, create, and love ourselves. I became a widow in August of 2023. I am still working through the steps, managing each day as best I can. Admittedly, what you see listed on this site — what I create — is a big part of my therapy.
Without embracing the creation process, a loyal tribe of folk, and a beautiful pup named Paws, I don't know where I'd be.
Perhaps someday creating will be my livelihood. For now, it helps me work through the grief, procure more supplies and keep the lights on. For that, I am grateful.

Why "phaze"?
My mother was a knitter, crocheter, and avid quilter. Her name was Fran. She used "Just a Fhaze" as a play on her first initial and last name. After losing my parents, I decided to honor her in the same way. Hence, I am the PHaze to her FHaze.
